GREG WHITE

My name is Greg and i am an Ex professional rugby player who converted into a holistic health coach and I am here to share my personal journey with you.

 

I grew up on the beaches of Sydney and then lived abroad 11 years in the south of France as a professional rugby player, where I spent many years over training my body into the ground, drinking/partying every weekend, eating poor quality food and being a people pleaser with no boundaries which brought along with it a host of negative consequences. The pressure to achieve physical perfection, chronic stress, self-criticism and an unhealthy relationship with food were only the beginning. I also carried within me a lot of fear/ insecurities and found myself addicted to a variety of destructive habits, including drugs, alcohol, excessive work out, caffeine, Netflix, people pleasing and more. These unhealthy patterns eventually led me to a very dark place of chronic anxiety and injuries. 

 

 

I now spend my days living a life of balance and harmony, with restful sleep, peaceful miracle mornings, working out, daily connection to nature, and refreshing barefoot walks followed by daily mobility  and movement practices. However it wasn't always like thankfully, I found myself at a crossroads and made the decision to choose a different path. It was not an easy journey, but it was the most important one I have ever taken. The process was full of trial and error, introspection, and personal growth, and I am still learning and healing to this day. I have come to realise that this journey of self-improvement and self-discovery is never truly complete and it’s a life long commitment. 

 

Over the years, I have discarded every aspect of that unhealthy lifestyle, removing all negativity and toxicity from my life. Now, I live a life of appreciation, joy, and good health, while still being able to operate in the real world and run my own business. I am not happy, but rather content with my path and my journey.

 

Although the ‘pain’ teacher payed me a visit many times, I now understand that my pain was a gift that helped me to grow and become who I am today and the path I am on to help share with others. 

 

My holistic practices and health habits, including gut health, sleep hygiene, nutrition, movement, strength training, meditation, grounding, skills, play, psychology, trauma release and nervous system healing. I believe that physical health begins from the inside out and that we can all reach our full potential if we are willing to confront our unhealthy habits and toxic influences with honesty and sincerity. Having a good mentor by your side can make the journey easier and more enjoyable.

 

 

In summary, my journey has been one of transformation and rebirth. I am living proof that with dedication and hard work, commitment to self we can change our lives for the better. We all have the potential to break free from unhealthy patterns that are holding us back and find peace, joy and good health. It is my hope that my story can serve as an inspiration to others who may be struggling with similar challenges.

WHAT IS HOLISTIC HEALTH
AND PERFORMANCE?

It's when we look at the whole body and mind holistically, that we don't focus on symptoms, but look for the root causes that cause your body's systems to react poorly.

Nutrition, movement and lifestyle are the main factors in your happiness and well-being.

 

Modify your dietary and macro-balance to better meet your needs and your body's demands. Your body is constantly communicating through its many signs and signals. By changing lifestyle habits that negatively affect us and replacing them with holistic protocols and methods allows the body/mind to reverse many chronic problems. 

'WHY' I COACH

My "WHY" was born out of a desire to overcome my own relationship, health and performance challenges. 

With the experience I've gained from changing myself first, living that experience and coaching countless clients, from professional athletes to seniors, I'm determined to spread the message of quality movement, mindset, health and longevity through my holistic methods and protocols.

I've been working in the field of movement and lifestyle for many years now, and throughout that time I've continually evolved my approach. I've always adapted to life's constant changes. Change is inevitable, so let's adapt and thrive together.
